All online Casting/Submissions: Casting@thejohnmasseshow.com
ACTORS - If you would like to be on the show as an actor, actress, gnome, etc. send your pictures and resumé. If you don't have a resumé but have experience send a list of what you've done - even if the only acting experience you have was being in the school play when you were 7. If you've had no experience at all, that's fine too. Just let us know why you want to be on the show and send me a picture of a turkey sandwich. If any of your work is online send the link.
We cast everything from lead speaking roles to extras facing the wall with a blanket over their head completely still and blurry in the background.
COMEDIANS/ARTISTS/BANDS/MANNEQUINS - In future seasons we will be featuring more local comedians, artists, singers, bands, etc. so if you have any of your work online, email a link or send a video/CD/DVD to the PO Box. Again, we will not feature anything that is vulgar or risqué so if any of your material fits into that category, we will treat it like one of the books we've reviewed on the show.
WRITERS - If you would like to write for the show - skits, parodies, sketches, ideas, segments, etc. send us your ideas. If we like your idea we will use it. If we don't use your idea, that doesn't me we don't like your ideas, it just means we don't like you.
But seriously folks, I've written down ideas that I don't even like, so if anyone should be offended, it should be me. We're open to all ideas and suggestions, but again, anything vulgar or risque we will not air so don't bother sending it. Viewers of this show range in age from 1 day old to 127 years old so clearly we have to keep it appropriate for all ages.
PRODUCERS - If you've filmed something you think is entertaining enough for the show, email a link or send a tape/DVD and why you think it should air. It DOESN'T HAVE TO BE COMEDY - I mean goodness, just look at the skits I air myself! It could be sports related or as random as 10 minutes of you sweeping your kitchen floor with spaghetti. If it's entertaining enough, we'll air it.
